1. EasyGrapher Stitch Wiz 2.5 is rewritten to run on Windows 95 and above, including Windows 2000/XP, and to use what is called in computerdom a "multiple document interface." This results in several changes in how the program works:

• up to 10 diagrams can be open at one time
• long file names can be used
• a computer display that can show more than 256 colors at once is strongly recommended
• individual windows are closed with the Close command in the File menu

2. The maximum number of lines in one diagram is increased to 600, the maximum number of symbols to 400, and the blackboard size is increased to 100 X 100.

3. Additional line properties are:

• lines can have the same number on both ends
• lines can be individually skipped in the line numbering
• lines can have the end caps not drawn to make it easier to run lines together
• line end points can be shifted to more precisely place stitches.

4. Change Previous is renamed to Edit Lines. Added to Edit Lines are:

• a Delete button to delete a line
• Up and Down buttons to more easily shift a line's place in the diagram drawing order
• other changes to implement new line properties.

5. The program now remembers the last folder used in saving or reading diagrams and the last folder used in exporting.

6. In Export, diagrams can be exported directly to the Windows clipboard.

7. Several commands are moved to different menus to more closely match general software conventions. Setup has been renamed Preferences and moved to the Edit menu.

8. Diagram printing options are moved from Setup to a new Print Diagram window that is now part of the Print Diagram command. Changing printer setup options now affects only Stitch Wiz instead of affecting other programs. Print Setup is now part of the Print Diagram command.

9. The Erase command has been merged into the Delete command in the Edit menu.

10. The plus (+) and minus(-) keys can be used to zoom in and out.

11. A Block Copy can be done, similar to a Block Shift, by selecting an area and dragging it while holding down the Shift key.
